Article 1 — Definitions and applicability

1.1 MeubelsLatenOphalen.nl is a trade name of Speaker Verhuur Amsterdam (sole proprietorship), registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 88952266, VAT identification number NL004674069B24, hereinafter referred to as "MeubelsLatenOphalen.nl", "we" or "us".

1.2 These terms and conditions apply to every request, quote, price indication and agreement between MeubelsLatenOphalen.nl and the customer, hereinafter referred to as "customer" or "client", relating to the collection, disposal, disassembly and/or processing of furniture and other movable goods, as well as the full or partial clearance of homes, garage boxes, storage units and business premises.

Article 2 — Formation of the agreement

2.1 An agreement is formed the moment the customer accepts the price indication communicated by MeubelsLatenOphalen.nl via WhatsApp and a date and time have been agreed.

2.2 Price indications are given based on photos and/or descriptions provided by the customer. If the actual situation on site differs significantly from the supplied images, the price may be adjusted in consultation with the customer before the work is carried out.

Article 3 — Performance by affiliated partners

3.1 MeubelsLatenOphalen.nl acts as the customer's single point of contact throughout the entire process: from first contact, planning and communication through to completion of the job.

3.2 Depending on the location, schedule and nature of the job, the actual work may be carried out by a carefully selected partner affiliated with MeubelsLatenOphalen.nl. All affiliated partners are selected by MeubelsLatenOphalen.nl based on reliability, quality and customer satisfaction.

3.3 All communication with the customer, including scheduling, changes and customer service, runs exclusively through MeubelsLatenOphalen.nl.

Article 4 — Liability

4.1 The actual performance of the work, including lifting, carrying, disassembling and transporting furniture and other items, is carried out by the affiliated partner referred to in Article 3.2.

4.2 Liability for damage arising during or as a result of the actual performance of the work — including but not limited to damage to furniture, homes, buildings, shared spaces, or personal injury — rests with the affiliated partner that carried out the relevant job, and not with MeubelsLatenOphalen.nl.

4.3 MeubelsLatenOphalen.nl makes every effort to work exclusively with reliable and skilled affiliated partners, but accepts no liability for acts or omissions of these partners during the performance of the work.

4.4 Any complaints about the performance of a job can be reported by the customer to MeubelsLatenOphalen.nl via WhatsApp. MeubelsLatenOphalen.nl will handle such a complaint and, where reasonably possible, mediate with the relevant affiliated partner.

4.5 Without prejudice to the above, the liability of MeubelsLatenOphalen.nl, to the extent permitted by law, is in all cases limited to the amount paid out in the relevant case under the liability insurance of the party involved.

Article 5 — Customer obligations

5.1 The customer guarantees that the information and photos provided give a representative picture of the situation on site.

5.2 The customer ensures a safe and accessible situation on site, so the work can be carried out responsibly.

5.3 The customer is responsible for informing any landlords, homeowners' associations or third parties where relevant to the performance of the job.

Article 6 — Cancellation

6.1 An appointment can be cancelled or changed free of charge via WhatsApp, provided this is done in good time. In the event of cancellation at very short notice, where already scheduled capacity can no longer be deployed elsewhere, reasonable costs may be charged.

Article 7 — Ownership and processing of collected items

7.1 At the moment of collection, ownership of the collected furniture and items transfers to MeubelsLatenOphalen.nl or the relevant affiliated partner, unless explicitly agreed otherwise.

7.2 Collected furniture and items are reused, resold or responsibly disposed of at our discretion, in line with applicable waste separation regulations.

Article 8 — Applicable law

8.1 Dutch law applies to all agreements between MeubelsLatenOphalen.nl and the customer.

8.2 Disputes will first be resolved through mutual consultation. If the parties fail to reach an agreement, the competent court in the district where MeubelsLatenOphalen.nl is established has jurisdiction over the dispute, insofar as mandatory law does not preclude this.
