What are you dealing with?
The higher the floor and the less lift access, the more time and manpower a collection needs. That applies to almost any item, but it makes the biggest difference for heavier furniture like a sofa, cabinet or bed.
How we approach it
Always tell us the floor and whether there's a lift when you get in touch. For a higher floor without a lift we plan extra people as standard, and sometimes a lifting strap or hand truck, so it goes safely and without damage.
Common examples
From a sofa on the ground floor right by the front door to a boxspring on the fourth floor of a canal house with no lift: the approach differs, the upfront fixed price doesn't.
